Would be useful for you to learn where the sensor is in the cuff, as you placed it in the wrong place on the mans arm. A mistake made by many hundreds of thousands of people using these monitors.
The sensor in most cuffs is at the same point the air tube is, so this should be placed off centre to the right of the arm. Check your pulse using fingers to locate correct position for the sensor. How many people have been given incorrect readings because of this common mistake?

The Healthy Living BA-508AC has memory with date and time for one person. The ReliOn UA-787REL also has memory, but without time and date. Taking the measurement immediately after physical activity is a mistake I frequently make.

Thanks for putting this up. Blood Pressure reading before following instructions: 151/95. Blood Pressure reading after: 135/82. Probably an inaccurate reading before. Still going to naturopath next week though!
