Accuracy of a blood pressure in a grocery store?
Question by Roland: Accuracy of a blood pressure in a grocery store?
I just got a new home blood pressure monitor called Omron HM780, supposedly accurate. Now when I go to the store my readings are between 130/85 to 148/95 and when I get home my readings are between 115/70 to 132/85 WHAT SHOULD I TRUST?

Don't trust the ones at the store. They are almost always inaccurate. Most of the time when I take mine it says I'm dead. Trust the home monitor.

Never trust a blood pressure machine that you find in a public place. They are never properly maintained and only replaced when they are defective. The cuff is only one size. I would trust your home readings and the bp readings from your Dr.
